Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: 11 September 2026

Prana Violet Healing (PVH) uses personal information only to operate the PVH app, provide the features a participant chooses to use, protect the integrity of learning and examinations, respond to enquiries, and maintain the PVH community. This policy explains what the app may collect, why it is used, when service providers may process it, and how a participant can control or delete their information.

1. Information the app may collect

Account and profile information. This can include your name, email address, phone number, country or Home Portal, preferred language, PVH membership/profile details and communication preferences.

Content you choose to provide. This can include Ask Bodhi questions and conversation history, Journal notes, messages, support questions, E-Copies, uploaded files or images, Emotional Freedom Healing (EFH) content, feedback, and E-Consultation recordings or related notes where you choose to use those features. Because PVH includes healing-related guidance, information you voluntarily enter may sometimes contain health-related, emotional or spiritual details.

Learning and examination information. This can include learning progress, module completion, examination assignments, answers, scores, review notes and examination-security events.

Examination-security information. During an examination, the app may record events such as leaving the examination screen, toggle counts, connection status and attempted screenshot, copy or print actions where those controls are enabled.

Community, product and donation information. If you use those features, the app may store community posts or activity responses, product enquiries, contact details supplied for an enquiry, order or donation records, and uploaded payment proof where applicable.

Technical and security information. The service may process basic account/session identifiers, device/browser status and security events needed to keep the app working, detect examination interruptions or misuse, and protect member data.

2. How PVH uses this information

PVH uses information to create and maintain your account; provide the Journal, learning, Ask Bodhi, EFH, examination, community and support features you request; remember language and privacy settings; deliver relevant notices; respond to enquiries; protect examination integrity; investigate technical or security problems; and operate country or global PVH administration where authorised.

PVH does not use the app to sell participant personal information or to serve third-party behavioural advertising.

3. Ask Bodhi, EFH and third-party AI processing

Participant-facing AI processing requires consent.

When AI processing is needed for Ask Bodhi, translation or a personal EFH draft, the relevant text you submit may be processed through Base44's AI integration and an underlying third-party AI model provider. The current participant-facing AI workflow uses Anthropic's Claude models through Base44.

Ask Bodhi may send your current question and limited recent conversation context when needed to prepare the requested response. Personal EFH generation may send the answers you choose to provide in the EFH creator. PVH asks for explicit permission before participant-facing content is sent for this AI processing. You can later revoke that permission in My Journal → Settings → Privacy & Account; AI-dependent features will then stop until you choose to allow them again.

Some administrative content-processing tools may also use AI models available through Base44, including Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini, for tasks such as translation, worksheet extraction or source/transcript processing. These tools are restricted to authorised administrative workflows.

Do not include names, contact details, account numbers, addresses or other identifying information in an Ask Bodhi or personal EFH prompt unless it is genuinely necessary for the feature you are using.

4. Service providers and sharing

PVH uses Base44 as the application platform and infrastructure provider. Files, database records, authentication and app functions may therefore be processed through Base44 to provide the service. Where an AI-dependent feature is used with consent, relevant text may also be processed by the AI provider described above.

PVH may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the safety or security of users or the service, or to authorised PVH administrators who need the information to carry out a feature you requested. Journal areas marked private are not intended to become general administrator content simply because an administrator exists; separate permissions and feature rules apply.

PVH expects service providers processing participant data on its behalf to protect that data consistently with their contractual obligations, applicable law and the purposes described in this policy.

5. Recordings, files and examination records

Microphone access is requested only when a participant chooses to start a recording feature that needs it. Examination monitoring does not require live camera or screen-sharing access.

E-Consultation and note recordings are stored only when you choose to save them. Where the app states that a recording is temporary, the displayed retention period applies; for example, current Journal recording notices state that certain saved recordings are removed from app access after 14 days.

Examination monitoring may record session status, toggle events and security incidents so authorised examination administrators can review examination integrity. These monitoring records are separate from participant-started Journal recordings.

6. Retention and deletion

Participants can request permanent account deletion directly in the app from My Journal → Settings → Privacy & Account → Delete Account.

Different records are kept only as long as needed for the feature, administration, safety, examination integrity or legal obligations that apply to them. Temporary recordings follow the retention notice shown with that feature and are removed from app access when that period ends. When a participant uses the self-service account deletion function, the app attempts to remove linked personal app records and private-recording access references before removing the Member record and login. If cleanup fails, the login is kept so deletion can be retried safely.

Operational or legal records may need to be retained where applicable law requires PVH to do so. An account with active administrative access must first have that access transferred or deactivated before self-service deletion can complete.

7. Your privacy choices

You can change communication preferences and privacy-sharing controls in My Journal → Settings → Privacy & Account. You can choose whether authorised admins may see specific progress/activity information where the app offers that control, revoke participant-facing AI processing consent, and permanently delete your account.

If microphone permission has been granted for a recording feature, you can change that permission in your device or browser settings. Revoking it may prevent that recording feature from working until permission is granted again.

8. Security

PVH uses authenticated access, role/permission controls, private-file storage for designated private recordings, restricted administration functions and security/event logging to reduce unauthorised access.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Participants should protect their login credentials and report suspected unauthorised access through PVH's support/contact channels.

9. Children and eligibility

PVH registration and participation requirements are governed by the membership and programme rules shown in the app. Where a younger participant is permitted to use a PVH programme, the organisation responsible for that programme must follow applicable consent and safeguarding requirements. PVH does not knowingly use participant data for behavioural advertising.

10. Changes to this policy and contact

PVH may update this policy when app features, service providers, legal requirements or data practices change. The current effective date is shown at the top of this page.

For a privacy question, correction or deletion issue, signed-in participants can use the app's Contact Us or Journal support area to reach the appropriate PVH administration team. If you are not signed in, use the official PVH contact channel provided with the app's public listing or organisation website.
